How to have a jaw dropping home…

I have officially fallen in love again…with a home in Markham.

On a street perfect for it’s character..Heritage Corners Lane.

This house is deceiving..from the outside I thought; ok it’s cute….

see?

notice the detail of original moulding around the door..

Cute garden with perennials, large lot with lots of space.

Great deck out back..

Then you go through the front door-be prepared to lift your jaw up off the floor now or wipe away any drool that may occur…

this is what you see immediately to your left when you step in…

Did you notice the ORIGINAL pine plank floor boards? The moulding/trim work around the windows?  If not..here is a closer look…

To the left of the foyer is the dining room…

Are you in love yet?

If not, this kitchen will help with that..the view from the dining room

The view from kitchen towards the family room addition..

Albeit, I am not a fan of blue in general, but how can you not love it here-so much personality, so well done, it flows so well with this home.

The addition that was built onto the kitchen has the greatest family room I have ever seen…Cathedral ceiling, exposed beams, an eating area, a large entertaining area…

(this is where I would put one of my Christmas trees…

see I told you it was love-whenever I know where to put the Christmas tree or have plans for more than one-it is a great house)

The door to the side on the left heads out to the newly built deck a great access door to bring in that cut down Christmas tree Smile…and the other end of the family room show cases the original exposed brick of the home.

Even the main floor powder room hosts the same attention to detail that is consistent with the home.

Upstairs has three bedrooms with slopped ceilings..

exposed beams…and good sized rooms.

And yes even plenty of space for a second floor, full bathroom..

And the master bedroom has a fabulous built in closet, and enough space for a desk/office…
